First responders open a field-size American Flag at Michigan Stadium as part of a 9/11 tribute during the pregame festivities.
Pregame festivities include a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with moments of remembrance for those who were lost, while also recognizing our first responders and other heroes. Air Force Retired Master Sergeant David Vittetoe performed ‘Amazing Grace’ on Bagpipes and the Detroit Youth Choir will perform ‘God Bless America’ as over 150 first responders open a field size American flag.
The Big House was packed with 108,345 Michigan fans during this maize-out game. The Wolverines defeated the Washington Huskies 31-10.
